Opening hours public holidays readings rooms at Heldenplatz and collections

The reading rooms at Heldenplatz and the collections are closed on public holidays so as on Sunday May 28, Monday May, 29 2023 and Thursday June, 8 2023. In the museums - despite of the State Hall - the regular opening hours are valid.

Schließung Prunksaal 6 and 7 July

Due to an event the State Hall is closed on Thursday 6 July and Friday 7 July 2023.

Special Opening Times State Hall

The State Hall (old library) is open on Monday May 29 and on Monday December 25, 2023.

Restauration works in the State Hall

The occasional restoration work is still being carried out in the State Hall. This may lead to sporadic minor disturbances, above all of an acoustic nature. We apologise for any inconvenience.
