Visit one of the most beautiful historical library halls in the world. During special exhibitions in the State Hall, you also get an overview of the current exhibition in addition to the guided tour of the State Hall.

Besides our fixed tours (every Thursday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m., always in German) we offer exclusive tours for individuals or small groups. 

Discover range of Austrian literature from the end of the 18^th century until the present day! At the Literature Museum, original manuscripts, letters, rare books and countless interactive displays offer an exciting route into the world of writing.

During special exhibitions in the Literature Museum, guided tours of the exhibition (on the third floor) can also be booked.

Take a tour of the world’s only museum of its kind and discover its 250 unique terrestrial and celestial globes, including the oldest globe in Austria dating back to 1536.

The guided tour of this unique museum provides information about the most successful planned language in the world: Esperanto. You also learn about many other invented languages at interactive media stations, such as the famous Klingon from the TV series “Star Trek”.

Tip: combine the tour with a crash course in Esperanto.
