The museums and the State Hall are are open again from Tuesday, May 4. The opening times are Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. From May 19 on Thursdays museums will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. In all museum areas FFP2 masks have to be worn during the whole stay and a minimum distance has to be held. All valid annual tickets will automatically be prolonged at no charge for the duration of the closing time of the 4th lockdown, these are 27 days.
The reading rooms are open again since May 3, 2021. The opening times at Heldenplatz are currently frpm 9 am to 7 pm. Starting May 19, the opening times at Heldenplatz will be 9 am to 9 pm. The collections are open as usual.
In all areas, visitors are required to wear a FFP2-Mask and to keep their distance.
All valid annual tickets are automatically extended free of charge for the duration of the additional closing time, meaning 27 days.
Trainings can not take place on site at the moment. Our range of training courses has been expanded to include webinars, an overview of current dates can be found on the » homepage. We are happy to offer further individually agreed appointments, including online-training courses on pre-academic work for schoolchildren, more information at information@onb.ac.at.
The library and the collections are closed on public holidays, this means also on June 3 (Corpus Christi). In the museums the regular opening times are valid.
