Using the Archives

We fulfil song and sheet music wishes, handing over archive material for musical use. The Archives of the Austrian Folk Song Institute is a reference library, making the documents available for scientific examination in the reading room.

We issue ordered books immediately in the reading room. A large set of reference books containing the most important song books and reference works is available for you to use in the reference area.

Reproductions

You have the opportunity, subject to copyright, to make copies of sheet music and texts in the library, provided there are no conservational reasons to the contrary.
