The reading rooms at the Library at Heldenplatz are closed on public holidays – and therefore also on December 8, 24, 25, 26 an d 31 an January 1 an 6. This is also valid for the reading rooms of our Departments.
On December 24 the State Hall, the Literature Museum, the Globe Museum, the Papyrus Museum, the Esperanto Museum and the House of Austrian History will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. On all other days, including December 25, 26 and January 1 and additionally Monday, December 30 and Monday, January 6 the museums will be open during regular opening hours.
