Due to an event, the State Hall closes on Thursday, October 17, already at 6.30 p.m. The public tour at 6 p.m. is canceled. We ask for your understanding.
The reading rooms at the Library at Heldenplatz are closed on public holidays – and therefore also on Austrian National Holiday (Saturday October 26) and All Saints' Day (Monday November 1). This is also valid for the reading rooms of our Departments. The museums are open on a regular basis.
On Saturday, November 9, a concert by Michael Hersch will take place in the State Hall from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.: "sew me into a shroud of leaves".
