The reading rooms at the Library at Heldenplatz are closed on public holidays – and therefore also on Austrian National Holiday (Saturday October 26) and All Saints' Day (Monday November 1). This is also valid for the reading rooms of our Departments. The museums are open on a regular basis.
Due to an event, the holdings of the Department of Manuscripts and Rare Books can be used on Thursday, 17 October 2019, only in the reading room of the Department (Josefsplatz, left side wing, Handschriftenstiege, 2nd floor). The regular opening hours apply. We ask for your understanding.
