On Saturday, May 5, the Library at Heldenplatz and the Papyrus Museum are closed due to preparation for the Open House. On Sunday, May 6, the Open House of the Austrian National Library will take place on the occasion of our 650th anniversary: The Library at the Heldenplatz and the Papyrus Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission, workshops and readings. Library service can’t be provided on this day. In the State Hall and our museums the regular opening hours are valid on May 5 and 6.
