With over three million objects of various historical types of media, the Picture Archives and Graphics Department is Austria’s largest centre of pictorial documentation. It is an archive, library, scientific picture agency and reproduction service point for picture orders from all the departments of the Austrian National Library.

Opening hours Easter holidays Please note that the library is closed from 30 March (Good Friday) to 2 April (Easter Monday). In our museums the regular opening hours are valid.
