We shed light on the history of globes, how they are made, the range of different topics displayed on globes and issues relevant to cultural history. The emphasis is on both the cartographic forms of expression and the high degree of artistic and artisanal quality of our valuable objects. The focus of our holdings is on terrestrial and celestial globes made before 1850.

The diversity of our globes is complemented by many permanent loans from private collectors.
