The aim of this seminar is to improve your accuracy and fluency when dealing with English speakers at work. Course participants can expect to:

• Revise/learn library terminology
• Simulate everyday situations e.g. explaining library services to users, dealing with complaints, the reference interview
• Discuss current library issues
• Develop their speaking skills through discussion, role play and student-centered activities
• receive language feedback
