Autographs

Since the second quarter of the 19th century mostly pieces of correspondence from the 16th century on are held in an subsection of the manuscript collection under the shelfmark group "Autogr." Two thirds of the holdings can be researched in the so-called Old Autograph Catalogue. The old holdings from 1828 on and new holdings from 1998 on are registered in the ÖNB-HANNA-Katalog (ANL HANNA Catalogue).

Please note that in the manuscript holdings autographs are to be found in Cod. 1 to Cod. 15500 and also in the shelfmark set of the Cod. Ser. n.
