The Spanish Riding School in Vienna is the only institution in the world which has practiced for over 460 years and continues to cultivate classical equitation in the Renaissance tradition of the haute école.
The objective of classical equitation is to study the way the horse naturally moves and to cultivate the highest levels of haute école elegance the horse is capable of through systematic training. 2012/03/02 — Grand Master of the Order of Malta visited Federal Stud Piber
During his official stay in Austria, the Grand Master of the Order of Malta, Mr. Fra’ Matthew Festing, visited the Federal Stud Piber in the Weststyrian Köflach. After a breakfast with Bishop Egon Kapellari the delegation was taken by carriage from the visitor parking to the Castle and was welcomed by Managing Director Elisabeth Gürtler, Stud Manager Max Dobretsberger and Stud Master Harald Neukam.
