Exhibition

The exhibition in the State Hall of the Ausrian National Library presents extraordinary images that appeared in precious geographic books, as well as in cosmographies, travel accounts, expedition reports, regional studies, maps and atlases. These magnificent objects illustrate how Europe's knowledge about distant regions and alien peoples animals, and plants was reflected in the stock of a universal library.
