Women on the Move
The web portal offers historical documents on the women’s movement in Austria from 1848 to 1918. In addition to information on historical personalities, women’s associations and women’s educational institutions in the Habsburg Monarchy, the contents of  women’s periodicals, bibliographical detail, and access to the online documents are available.
Women’s writings
Here we present forgotten Austrian women writers from the turn of the century up to the 1930’s that make the picture of the “New Woman” their theme. As well, the web portal offers belles lettres of Austrian women writers online in full text.
Hofmeister monthly reports
In 1829 the Leipzig music publisher Friedrich Hofmeister began monthly publication of lists of the latest musical works to appear. Those lists were continued until the middle of the 20th century and were incorporated in the list of musical items in the German Bibliography. The Austrian National Library places that work in its original version in digitised form at public disposal.
